1. Install

Add BotShark from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons (Safari via the macOS wrapper when published).

2. Sign in

Connect to app.botshark.io with your account or API key in Options — free tier includes badges and limited daily scans.

3. Browse X

Open x.com as usual. Badges appear on rated handles; right-click any profile to queue a scan.

4. Dig deeper

Open the popover for a quick read, or follow through to the full evidence-backed report in the web app.

The extension is for X/Twitter only. Bluesky analysis lives in the BotShark web app and API — bsky.app’s layout and handle model don’t support the same inline badge surface yet.

BotShark measures behavioural likelihood, not guilt. Badges and feed treatment are investigative aids: every score still links back to explainable rules and evidence in the full report.

Not affiliated with X Corp. Free accounts get inline badges and a daily scan allowance; upgrade in the app (or extension Options) for feed treatment, batch scan, and higher limits.
